A few very important things to keep in mind specific to this opening: 1) STRONG Communication skills are an absolute must (will be directly supporting client's customers around the world) 2) STRONG preference will be given to candidates local to Ohio 3) Must be willing to work M-F schedule (cannot work M-Th) Position: 4 SAP BASIS (2 Sr. openings, 2 /Mid. level openings) Location: Columbus, Ohio Duration: 6-12 months (Good chance of going 12 months+, current consultant on the team has been there for 14 months and is getting extended) Job Description: Archiving and Ixos/Opentext experience is critical for this role. • The Senior Basis Administrator provides high level support to end users to quickly identify and resolve key issues as well as focus on projects and Basis tasks that require an in depth knowledge of the SAP application suite. • This position also provides training and support for Level 1 Basis Administrators. • Senior Basis Administrator encompasses, but is not limited to: daily system checks, SAP Basis support, TMS / Realtech Transport Manager support, SAP printer support, SAP Archiving, SAP GUI support, SAP Portal support, PI /GRC/ NFe support, Faxing (Topcall) and Ixos/OpenText support as well as system refresh support for multiple instances. • In addition, the position requires an advanced IT knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Microsoft SQL Server 20052008 and Oracle 10/11) Terminal Services, Redwood job scheduling, and Microsoft Office Suite. • This role also requires a basic knowledge of Enterprise class server hardware, SAN, as well as basic knowledge of SAP database tools and database structure in general. • In addition, basic knowledge of desktop hardware is a plus. A minimum of five years experience with SAP (ECC6.0/BW7.0/CRM/PI/GRC/PLM SAP Portals) is required. SAP Basis Consultant -Person needs to be able to hit the ground running and have very little 'ramp up' time.
