Open script file in editor; 2. Note details (creation date, modified by, etc.) and a short description of the script’s tasks; 3. Document calls to: a. Network drives b. Network printers c. Registry settings d. Other configuration settings e. Logfile locations (if applicable) f. Other scripts 4. Document conditional statements (i.e., members of XYZ security group receive ABC drive mappings…) 5. Make recommendations for: a. Settings that can be implemented through GPO; b. Streamlining/simplification of script logic 6.
