*Title*: *Data Conversion Developer* *= ** All candidates must be “US Citizens” or “Green Card holders” or EADs* *Position Type*: Contract *Duration:* 4+ Months contract *Location*: Lansing, MI *Description*: The Data Conversion developer is responsible for performing data conversion design and for data conversion development using InfoSphere QualityStage/DataStage and SQL Developer for Oracle. As a designer, the applicant will be required to analyze business requirements for the migration of data from the legacy environment. Define and document the technical ETL processes as required to meet the conversion objectives. The applicant must be familiar with the industry standard Extract, Translate and Load (ETL) concepts, practices, and procedures. *Required:* • 1 to 3 years experience developing data conversions using InfoSphere DataStage/QualityStage in an Oracle environment is required • Experience in gathering user requirements and documentation of formal business requirements and functional specifications • Able to meet with key clients as needed to provide smooth communication • HTML/XHTML • JavaScript • SQL/PLSQL in an Oracle environment • XML • Child Welfare domain experience is a plus. • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills • Detail oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines • Self motivated and able to work under minimum supervision • Strong interpersonal skills • Able to provide advisory support to staff members to best enable project success *Education:* Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred *Comments:* * Contractors will be required to cover their own parking expenses (appx $99/month) * Contractors will be required to provide their own laptops for this assignment * Contractors will be required to use their cell phones for work (minimal).
