*Location:* South Brunswick, NJ *Duration: *6 months with extension Description: Enterprise Data Warehouse QA specialist We are looking for an experienced QA specialist. This person must be able to translate business functional requirements into test cases. This person must be analytical, and self-motivated, with good communication and interactive skills. He/she must be a team player. Duties and Responsibilities · Be responsible for the overall testing · Plan, schedules and implements testing projects · Write test plans and test cases · Learn new technologies as needed · Develops automated tests based on test plans · Perform functional, stress, application, regression and performance tests · Assist product developers and technical product support specialists in the solution of complex problems · Review functional and design specifications Skills and Specifications · Over 5 years of IT experience in Software Testing, client/server and web based applications. · Over 5 years of extensive experience testing on DWH Applications, ETL & Reporting. · Conversant with all phases of Project Life Cycle including Requirement gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation of Quality Software. · Experience in Data Analysis, Data Validation, Data Cleansing, Data Verification and identifying data mismatch. · Experience in testing and executing jobs using UNIX Shell Scripting. · Proficient in writing SQL queries to perform data driven tests and involved in front-end and back-end testing. · Strong knowledge in RDBMS concepts. · Experience in the development of test plans / specifications documentation.
