*Duration: 6+ monts Contract*
*Role Description
*Role Description: Responsible for analysis, design, code, and testing of
multiple components of application code for multiple Texas Medicaid data
warehouse systems. Involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development
work of modules and those that interface with other applications. Has a
range of technical skills including* C/C++, SQL, data warehouse concepts,
ETL,* and *OLAP reporting.* Combines technical skills with knowledge of
Texas Medicaid systems and business processes to develop effective
solutions. Limited client interaction. Participates in pager/on-call
support, deployment of production releases, and introduction of new services
into production environment. Helps identify and implement continuous
improvement opportunities.
*Skills Required
* *1 - 2+ years *of experience in *application maintenance and/or
development*
*1 - 2+ years *of *C/C++ development *experience
*1 - 2+ years *of experience in *SQL, data warehouse concepts, ETL*,
and *OLAP reporting*
*Preferred Skills
* Experience with Texas Medicaid or in comparable healthcare or claims
processing industry
Experience with specific technical solutions including *HP NonStop
(aka NSK, Tandem), TACL, SQL MP/MX
* Experience with specific technical solutions including *SQL Server
* Experience with specific technical solutions including *SAP Business
Objects
* Experience providing production on-call support
*4-year college degree
Professional Skills
* Proven ability to manage a significant workload with minimal
supervision
Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Good customer service skills
