*Position:* Tech Support Analyst

*Location:* New York, NY

*Duration:* 6 months




Job description

   - Accept ownership of customer issues until a solution is achieved
   providing complete customer satisfaction
   - Usage of our remote software tool, Webex, to perform upgrades
   - Documenting tasks into our propitiatory Siebel ticketing systems /
   Coordinating a schedule with our TAMs organization
   - Report design reliability and maintenance problems or ""bugs"" to
   design engineering/software engineering teams
   -  Isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software
   - Troubleshooting and reproducing technical related issues and Work
   independently or part of a team on technically challenging issues
   - Willing to travel if necessary and  Flexible hours - work in a 24/7
   support environment



*Qualifications:
*



   - Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems including Windows XP, Vista and
   Windows 7
   - Knowledge of MSFT Active Directory & Group Policy, Networking
   infrastructure and router/firewall experience
   - Knowledge of software deployment tool (MSFT SMS, IBM Tivoli), Install
   Shield, C++ , VB scripts and desktop virtualization is a plus
   - Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and provide excellent
   service to a demanding client base
   - Possess strong analytical thinking with problem solving skills
   - Strong written and verbal communication skills
   - Strong understanding client's Markets customers, products, business and
   service drivers
   - Previous work experience or knowledge of the customer service
   organizations in a financial industry a plus





*Desired Skills:                                    *



At least 3-5 years experience, Preferable to have completed level one CFA
exam, Bachelors degree in Finance particularly in investment management,
In addition to *T1* has experience in following products:

- TPA, incl RTC

- Starmine

- Baseline

- Datastream
