We are currently working on two project: Active compliance Project and Eikon for compliance manager. Both are high priority and the reason to bring on these workers is to expedite delivery of both projects. If these workers are not brought on board we risk impacting the delivering of these projects. *Main responsibilities:* - Works on medium and large complex projects that are enterprise wide and require the highest level of expertise and multiple technical disciplines. - Work involves leading a team of onshore and offshore database developers - Ownership of the technical delivery of the database architectural domain. - Contribute key technical expertise, potentially global, which may have a direct material impact on Thomson Reuters’ reputation, and products. - Working with on-shore and off-shore development, test and operations staff - Accountable for a team's results, or for a project, and takes responsibility for the quality of work delivered. Sets timeframes and schedules to meet customer and business needs. - Defining and developing the project scope of multiple complex projects with assistance from the project team. - Providing design recommendations, developing and integrating programs per written specifications. Responsible for writing moderate to complex design specifications. - Translating business and technical requirements into detailed design specifications for the database tier - Preparing and presenting status updates for various projects. - Developing software solutions using disciplined software development processes. - Provides assistance in researching new and emerging technologies. Works with vendors to understand technology. Evaluating new tools, technologies and platforms to be included. - Ensuring project process is followed (assignment objectives, post assignment performance reviews, etc.) - Identifies ways to improve the operation of own area and to achieve efficiencies and results. - Provides technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to database development teams across the organization. *Required skills:* - Minimum of 10 years database development experience. Experience must include complex architecture and design responsibilities - Requires in-depth experience and understanding of database architecture, modeling, schema design and sql development - Multiple years of experience with SQL Server 2008/2005, SSIS & SSRS technologies - Experience with high availability and failover technologies such as clustering, replication, database mirroring and SAN (storage area networks) - Experience working with large scale database environments both in terms of size (250+GB) and transaction rates (2+ million/day) · Experienced in designing/creating physical database schemas to enforce data integrity, provide superior performance and meet scalability requirements. - Experienced in development/optimization of stored procedures using T-SQL including handling & processing of xml data - Experience with deployment and support of large-scale production quality applications *Desired Skills:* - Messaging / SIP and Live Communications Server experience a plus - Engaged in innovative concepts and programming techniques on how to develop high quality software and still maintaining shorter time to market (e.g. Agile and Extreme Programming (XP)) - High awareness of customer service - Financial markets experience a plus - Very focused and challenged - C# & .NET technology experience a plus *Education:* Bachelors degree required -- Regards, Shankar 248-522-6879 Technology consultanst inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
