SQL Server/SSIS Developer Dallas, TX 3-6 Months Need Locals Only!!! The top 3 skills are: ETL (SSIS), BI reporting (SSRS and SSAS) and business acumen. Financial experience would also be very helpful. He wants someone that can sit down with internal customers to understand their needs and help come up with a solution or someone that can change business requirements into solutions. They will also need to be comfortable understanding when they don't have data and not be affraid to go find it (ask the development team, the BAs, etc...). That is something that their current Sr. DW Developers are doing now. Experience . Minimum 3-5 years professional experience creating BI solutions for management consumption . Minimum 2-3 years hands-on experience developing data integration solutions using SSIS . Minimum 1-2 years experience creating dashboards and/or operational reporting using SSRS or other data presentation tools . Bachelors degree or equivalent experience . Minimum 5 years relational database and T-SQL experience, at least 3 of which must be as part of teams developing complex, multi-data source queries for management consumption. . Professional experience with high performance T-SQL development methodologies. . Helpful experiences include: Professional experience in Lending or Financial Services, E-Commerce, Data Warehouse Skills and Abilities . Must be a detail-oriented data analysis expert with deep knowledge of relational database, OLAP technologies . Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005 programming practices . Fluency with appropriate tools including SQL Management Studio, Query Analyzer and Visio as well as the entire Microsoft Office suite . Solid understanding of Transact SQL . Experience designing and developing ETL routines for data warehouses . Ability to integrate custom ETL using C# . Professional exposure to Web-based applications using SQL Server database back end . Comfortable in a fast-pace environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously . Must have the desire to work on new, innovative, cutting edge technologies .
