This position will include responsibility for: Providing post sales and implementation services for clients Providing senior technical leadership through all project stages for small and large scale application compatibility, desktop deployments, and core infrastructure deployment utilizing the latest Microsoft technologies Requirements: Windows desktop deployment, migration assessment, design & implementation. Consultant with experience in the following: • Consultancy, Vendor or large Enterprise experience • MS Windows Server 2008, MS Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, Office 2010 • Windows 7 Image Deployment • Microsoft Deployment Tooklit (MDT 2010) • Microsoft Office 2010 planning and deployment o OMPM o OEAT o Converter Technologies solutions • Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) experience required o Application Virtualization/SoftGrid o Desktop Virtualization • Microsoft Desktop Deployment Planning Service (DDPS) or Windows 7 JumpStart • Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT) • Expertise in application packaging for automated deployment, including a familiarity with MSI and AdminStudio, Wise Install suites. • Experience with MS application compatibility toolkit (ACT 5), ChangeBase and/or AppDNA • Experience with automated deployment methodologies (e.g., ZTI) and application packaging / distribution • Knowledge of MS security (Patch Management) • Knowledge of SCCM/SMS and SCOM/MOM • Proficiency with scripting languages, multiple packaging / deployment applications, and distribution methods • Experience with Altiris or Landesk would be a plus Additional experience/tasks for this position - • Superior customer facing and technical skills. • Assessment of customer's environment prior to migration. • Documentation for migration plan. • Development of deployment and test plans. • Experience working as a team leader within a process/project-oriented organization. • Methodical approach to problem solving and resolution. • Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups. • Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities. • The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward. • The Consultant must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in an organization; develop procedural documentation; develop and conduct effective presentations; effectively demonstrate products and solutions; and be able to write customer proposals Education/Certifications: MCSE a plus DDPS/Jumpstart required MDOP required ACF required Bachelors degree, technical degree or equivalent experience a plus Additional certifications in operating systems, databases and programming languages a plus Thanks & Regards!!! *Bharath Kumar* Astron Consulting, LLC.
