Location : Atlanta GA Duration : 12+ Months Rate : $45/hr c2c Job Description: Oracle DBA • Experience in installing, configuring & administering Oracle DB • Strong exposure of BACKUP & Recovery • Should be able to write simple SQL, PL/SQL & UNIX shell scripts • Should have a good knowledge of the Oracle RDBMS architecture • High Availability (either oracle RAC or better solution) • Good exposure on Windows 2000, Unix, AIX • Sound experience in DB creation and setting up backup using TSM • Performance tuning • Good Command over SQL • Database recovery, and backup schedule planning (RMAN/Manual) • Applying patches and sort out bugs • Experience in Database upgrades between various versions is mandatory • Knowledge in space & Back up monitoring • Production Support for DBA tasks • Troubleshooting skills • Good knowledge of Change Management process and Configuration Management is required Job Description: SQL server DBA • Experience on SQL Server 2000 and 2005 and 2008 • Hands on experience in Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting SQL Server DBA tasks • Configuring and Maintaining Log shipping, Replication and Mirroring Building and Configuring SQL Server Cluster server • Sound knowledge of Backup and Recovery using TSM, online and offline backups, export/import is mandatory. • Configuring and Maintaining Backup strategies using Lightspeed, SQL Maintenance Jobs.
