The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust. The candidate will be responsible for the design of a software system with a user base of 30,000 – 50,000 users. *REQUIREMENTS* - Experience in organizing details into a complete user interface design specification that will be used as a blueprint for development. - Experience with user research methodologies to better understand users and test the usability of features and conceptual designs. - Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and seeing them through completion within or ahead of schedule. - *Experience in developing 508 compliance wireframes and utilizing various web development techniques. * - Extensive knowledge and experience with Web development, usability, and accessibility issues - *Experience designing wireframes with Axure RP Pro or Microsoft Visio. * - Experience with graphic design, webpage building and wireframe development, design and implement graphic design to effectively communicate mission and priorities. - Experience using computer-based graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop. - Design and code Web pages using user interface best practices, including accessibility and usability. - *Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM scripting, and/or AJAX. * - Experience creating multimedia, including photo galleries, slideshows, and videos embedded in Web pages. - Excellent communication skills; written and verbal. - Design and code Web pages using user interface best practices, including accessibility and usability.
