We are currently looking for 2 SOA Security Engineers for a client located in Philadelphia, PA. *Local candidates will be given preference*, and this will be a 6+ month contract. The rate depends on experience. *SUMMARY:* National leading prescription benefits management company is looking for a SOA security engineer Consultant that will be responsible for crafting an SOA framework to create and expose key services required of the service bus. You will be providing team leadership, software design, build, and test for all SOA services development initiatives, as well as on-going support of the services delivered. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Developing and implementing a service oriented security architecture for web applications and SOA. Work closely with project teams to ensure that the services and technical architecture meets project objectives Develop automated unit tests to verify code is working properly. Setting and enforcing development standard toolsets and best practices. Exhibiting compliant and ethical behavior in the performance of job responsibilities, including complying with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, Corporate of Conduct, Business Ethics Policies and Procedures and other policies and procedures applicable to position. Actively participating in Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program, including attending annual compliance and ethics training and reporting suspected violations of the law or Corporate policies and procedures via Corporate Procedures for Reporting Incidents of Possible Improper Employment Practices, Misconduct, or Improper Financial/Accounting Practices. Performs other duties as assigned to meet corporate objectives. *QUALIFICATIONS:* A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer programming, software engineering, software development or other similar degree required. A Masters of Science in any of the above disciplines is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to effectively interface with internal/external customers. 7+ years of progressively complex experience and expert-level skill in analysis, design and programming. Expert-level skill and knowledge of modern multi-tier architecture for web applications, development methodologies and tools. Experience in Developing artifacts including functional documents, detailed design documents, Test scripts Experience with managing development environments, automated testing and deployment, source code management Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities including, requirements, design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and maintenance Expert-level skill and knowledge of Internet Security infrastructure, principles and implementation methodologies Experience in Security patterns, framework design Extensive experience in implementing Web and SOA security using Webspehere Datapower XI50 and Tivoli products like TAM / Webseal, TSPM, LDAP and Identity Manager Experience in implementing Web and SOA authentication and policy based object level authorization. Experience in IBM suite of SOA and messaging products including Websphere MQ, Websphere ESB (WESB), Websphere Process Server (WPS), Websphere Integrated Developer (WID) is plus.
