Hi All, One of my client is looking for *Data Architect/Data Modeller*. Location is Harrisburg, PA. Rate is DOE. Position: Data Architect Duration: 3-6 months Location: Harrisburg, PA The client feels that “Higher Education” experience is very important and they did not receive any candidates with this experience. ** * * The new anticipated start date is the beginning of August.** Required Experience and Skills:** * * DATA MODELING: ** Systems and database analysis that translates business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models focusing on issues such as reducing redundancy of data improving the way information moves from, or is accessed by, one system to another. DATA ARCHITECTURE/DATA ADMINISTRATION: ** Responsible for developing and maintaining a formal description of the data and data structures to include data definitions, data models, data flow diagrams, etc. (in short metadata). This resource must have experience with relational databases (in particular Oracle and /or SQL Server databases). Qualifications and Skills:** * * The right fit for this role is an individual who has a strong ‘consulting’ background with demonstrated experiences fostering stakeholder buy-in across diverse and complex stakeholder groups. This individual must have experience in Higher Education or a similar field that enables him/her to effectively structure information within various data domains. This experience should include the proven ability to deliver integrated data solutions in a federated data environment, preferably within a Higher Education System.
