PeopleSoft HCM Core HR Consultant Chapel Hill, NC 6 months Skill Area: PeopleSoft Core HCM - Basic setup, Personal Data, Job Data, Position Management, Compensation, Learning Management and Profile Management. Experience with Benefits Administration, North American Payroll, or Commitment Accounting, Talent Management (including Profile Management) Brief Job Outline: - The candidate will function as a PeopleSoft subject matter expert in the HCM Core HR areas. The consultants selected would work with a team of PeopleSoft Functional experts to guide the client from Design through configuration/testing for the implementation of PeopleSoft HCM 9.1. - Validate requirements, define and document setup and configuration, assist in the development of functional specifications, and assist with the conducting, facilitating and follow-up from conference room pilots. - Provide application functionality and configuration expertise for the Core HR module, including most of the following. Basic setup, Personal Data, Job Data, Position Management, and Compensation, with additional focus on Learning Management and Profile Management. - Ensure that the business office customers fully understand the impact of decisions to Business Processes made during system configuration. - Advise project team on best practices related to configuration and setup of the modules above, assist in making the best strategic configuration decisions. - Experience with Benefits Administration, North American Payroll, or Commitment Accounting, Talent Management (including Profile Management), particularly where integrated or related to Core HR is a plus. - Working directly with developers to ensure that functional and technical specifications for customizations meet business requirements.
