*Primary Responsibilities:* Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support Client production systems. Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance. Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime. Provide trend analysis to the operations management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding hardware resource management. Problem escalation to the Oracle Development team and third parties as appropriate. Implement database changes as submitted by the development team 24/7 support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by our business systems. Design, develop, and administer Oracle databases. Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle databases. Manage and maintain back-up and recovery procedures. Install and maintain database servers, database replication, and client environments. Review and offer tuning suggestions for SQL and PL/SQL code. Support security and access control (in support of PCI compliance). Provision, support, and assist development team in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications *Required Qualifications:* 7+ Years of Oracle/Oracle 10g RAC Database administration 7+ years of Oracle Applications R12 and 11.5.10 administration and technical stack knowledge including workflow and system administration. Excellent understanding of Applications Hardware and Infrastructure setup. Ability to perform Database tuning, SQL tuning, Database Backup recovery, Sizing and basic Unix Administration. Advanced knowledge of: Red Hat 5 (OS environment) Oracle Clusterware 11gR1 and 11gR2 (RAC) Oracle RDBMS 10gR2, 11gR1, and 11gR2 Oracle EBS 11i, R12 Oracle BI (OBIEE) Experience of other database systems, preferably SQL Server In-depth knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g with production support experience in a multi-project environment. Experience with Unix/Linux in a multi-domain environment including basic commands and shell scripting. Oracle Recovery Manager, Import/Export (and Datapump), SQL*Loader Command of Oracle performance and tuning skills including server configuration and tracing facilities. Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager.
