*Description*
The Sr. Technical Analyst – Business Intelligence (BI) is responsible for
supporting, administrating and developing reporting applications for the
Business Units. The Sr. Technical Analyst - BI provides production support
as well as project support as required.

*Principal Accountabilities*
70%
· Provide Operational Support through:
- Resolving BI front end and back end problems through research and
applying course of action
- Coordinate BI front end changes with BI back end analysts
- Assist in execution of user acceptance testing
- Assist in creation and maintenance of end user training materials
- Providing incident and change management,including complex
troubleshooting across technologies
- Problem management, including root cause analysis
- Manage and coordinate configuration, change, and release processes
- Communicate effectively with customers and peers
- Building customer relationships through performing duties
- Meet service level agreements
30%
· Support Business Unit customers through:
o Making recommendations regarding procedures, project scope, deadlines,
and budgets, and new technology initiatives
o Leading or participating on project teams that identify requirements,
manage project scope and implement justifiable solutions, controlling costs
and dates by controlling requirements, planning and creativity
o Ability to work with analysts across multiple process areas
o Performing testing and debugging for complex front end BI object and
applications
o technologies
- Providing and maintaining supporting functional and technical
documentation
*Qualifications*
Required:
· B.S. Degree in IT, MIS, CS or related disciple with 5+ years of
business experience
· 3-5 years experience in applicable technologies
· Deep working experience in implementing and supporting applicable
technologies
· Demonstrated experience technical skill areas within application
· Working knowledge of developing with BOBJ XI R3 and BEx 7.1 -
Designer XI R3, WebIntelligence XI R3, Crystal Reports XI R3, and InfoView
XI R3 with knowledge of using SAP BW as the data source and BEx Web Analyzer
7.1, BEx Query Desinger 7.1, BEx Web Analyzer Designer 7.1
· Working knowledge of incident and change management tools and
processes (ie BMC Remedy).
· Strong customer relationship skills
· Willing and able to rotate shifts and/or work on second shift.
· Willing and able to be on a rotating on-call schedule including
some weekends and holidays.
· Effectively participate in virtual team, global distributed teams
· Comfortable with ambiguity, active inquiry skills, strong written
communication skills
· Ability to travel if required
