Network / Security Analyst 9 to 12 Month Contract - last 6 months heavy traveling! Fort. Worth, Texas Position Summary A dynamic role requiring a mixture of strong technical skills and the ability to operate in an ever changing environment. The Network / Security Analyst will interface extensively with business customers, IT staff, and technology vendors. Candidates must bring relevant operational experience, design knowledge, and exceptional communication skills. Job Requirements: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks utilizing MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, and MS Visio. Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills required. Strong analytical abilities and professional office experience needed. *A thorough understanding of the OSI network model.* Identify, diagnose, resolve and document network problems through the use of industry standard network monitoring/reporting tools. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment utilizing the company change control process in order to ensure knowledge sharing and minimization of outages. Must be able to work with IT individuals/teams of different disciplines to gather business requirements and ensure quality product delivery. Configure, install, and maintain network switches, routers, access points, and other network services. Configure, install, maintain, and secure VPNs, Firewalls, and IPS systems. Plans and supports layers 1-4 of the OSI model. Must be available to work off hour project implementation schedule. Position will require up to 50 - 60% domestic travel. *CCNP OR CCSP or equivalent security certification a MUST*** Technologies: STP, 802.1Q, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, MEC, 802.11 Wireless, GRE, Multicast, VRF, VOIP, Net Flow, 802.1x, PKI, SNMP Equipment: Cisco Switches: o Nexus 7000, 5000, 1000V o Catalyst 6500 (sup 720), 3750, 3560, 2950, 2960, 2970 Cisco Routers: 7200, 2800, 1800, 800 series routers Cisco Firewalls: ASA 5000 series, PIX 500 series Cisco VPN: ASR 1000 series Cisco Appliances/Software: Cisco ACS, Cisco CSM, WLC, Cisco WCS, Cisco WAAS, Cisco CLM HP Openview Products Experience with licensed and unlicensed Microwave Links.
