We need a Mobile Web (mdot) Software Development Business Analyst. This project will enhance the BBY mobile website (mDot) with new business features, underlying technical improvements, and usability improvements consistent with goals and objectives defined by overarching programs This position is “not” part of BBY Mobile Responsibilities/Deliverables: 1. Requirements Management a. Develops user stories and / or ensures that user stories are clear and accurate b. Facilitates requirement feasibility analysis as required 2. Responsible for reviewing system test cases 3. Responsible for reviewing technical design to meet requirement 4. Responsible for Requirements, Design, Testing documentation management – storing on SharePoint site 5. Responsible for overall quality assurance of software developed a. Supports and monitors system testing b. Leads User Acceptance Testing c. Defines scope and monitors execution of integrated product testing d. Supports and monitors regression testing e. Supports and facilitates performance testing 6. Web Application Security Assessment – responsible for coordinating and monitoring security scan(s) of new software, including working with application development partner to classify and report on any security vulnerabilities discovered. Single point of contract for Enterprise Information Policy / Security organization 7. Plans and supports application builds and deployments including validation of application after deployment 8. Plans and monitors execution of QA and Stage RFC (Request For Changes) including follow up with Change / Release Management resource to ensure changes are approved on time 9. Collaborates closely with application development partner to identify root cause of and resolve technical issues 10. Collaborates closely with BBTG/Accenture/BBY Operations/ASM for all production release and deployment planning activities and deliverables a. Go/No-Go document b. Detailed Installation Instructions c. Playbook d. Release Logistics document Special Skills: 1. MUST Have - Agile / Iterative Software Development experience - has been responsible for preparing user stories; has worked effectively in multi-sprint / multi-project environments 2. MUST Have - 3-5 years experience working with offshore development teams and using collaboration tools to manage information transfer to offshore team members 3. MUST Have - Experience using Defect Tracking software 4. MUST Have - Experience with IT Change Management processes 5. MUST Have - Performed / played tester role in past assignments - responsible for performing system and / or user acceptance testing; develop testing conditions, developed test data, created test cases 6. MUST Have - Experience working on web/eCommerce Java/.NET software development projects 7. MUST Be - Tactical - detail oriented 8. Nice to Have - Performed BA role on mobile website software development project(s) 9. Nice to Have - Performed BA role on mobile application software development project(s) 10. Nice to Have - Been a Java, DotNET, Java/Script, HTML developer in past roles 11. Nice to Have - Been a DB developer / DBA in past roles 12.
