Title: Java Programmer Duration - 12 months Location - San Diego, CA Description: Looking for a developer to augment development staff working on an event driven SOA B2B application that processes a large amount of data in near real-time. Developer will be responsible for working with project analysts and other developers to design, develop and test new features and enhancements for the application. We are looking for someone who likes challenging work, new technologies and strives for elegant solutions to difficult problems. Skills: . Solid experience with J2SE/J2EE; including experience with various API's and frameworks, including JMS, ORM (JPA/Hibernate/iBatis), XML (StAX/Xerces/JAXB) . Solid experience with XML; concept, parsing, transformation, tools (XSD, XSLT) . Solid experience in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) , database scripting (e.g. PL/SQL) and performance tuning . Solid experience with unit testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit . Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services standards (SOAP, XML, WSDL, UDDI) . Experience with object oriented analysis, design and development . Experience with design patterns . Experience with one or more source control software (Subversion) . Experience with test driven development, design, documentation and review of tests . Experience with J2EE application servers such as WebLogic or Oracle . Experience with continuous integration and Maven is desirable . Experience with Agile Software Development, or Extreme Programming is desirable . Experience with business process software like TIBCO or Oracle SOA Suite/BPEL is desirable . Experience with Data Virtualization software like Composite software is desirable . Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple development tasks with minimum or no supervision .
