Client’s portal is a 24 x 7 environment and presents multiple secure
services and applications to users.  Their platform is migrating to a SOA
platform with the introduction of Websphere Process Server and Business
Monitor products. Several new projects including Forte-to-Java and the
interfaces to the new system are under development and will utilize the
Service-Oriented Architecture.

The supported product set includes WAS, Websphere Process Server, Websphere
Business Monitor, DataPower, MQ Series, Websphere Portal, and Message
Broker. These products exist in a multi-data center, clustered environment.
The technical staff will assist in supporting the Websphere SOA environment,
troubleshooting problems, and assisting development staff as needed. Off
hours support rotates between team members on a weekly basis.

*MANDATORY EXPERIENCE*
Experience in supporting IT systems.
Experience with the installation, configuration, and/or administration of
IBM Websphere Process Server and/or Websphere Business Monitor.
Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of
Websphere Application Server Versions 6 and above.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

*ASSOCIATED SKILLS*

Experience administering Websphere Portal V6 or V6.1 in a clustered
configuration.
Experience administering WAS V6.1 and /or WAS V7 in a clustered
configuration.
Experience administering Websphere Process Server and/or Websphere Business
Monitor in a clustered environment.
Experience administering IBM’s WCM (Web Content Management) in a Portal 6 or
6.1 environment.
Experience supporting Message Broker and MQ Series.
Experience with disk sharing technology (GPFS, NFS) in a multi-node,
clustered environment.
