Location : Boston, MA
Duration : 6 Months
Rate : $50/hr - $55/hr
Job Description:
The skills would be typical Sybase DBA activities like installation,
backup, transaction log dumps, performance monitoring, tuning etc.
• Installation and Administration of database servers
• Maintenance of the databases
• Manage backups, restores and transaction log dumps of the databases
• Performance monitoring, tuning of the databases and SQLs
• Person should have experience on ASE 15.x, Replication server 15.x
mainly on Unix platform
• Ability to troubleshoot and rapidly resolve production issues
• Ability to provide a timely response to ad hoc requests and project
related work
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
