Position: Dot Net Developer Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan Duration: 6+ likely to be extended past this timeframe. Job Description: This person should have 7-8+ years of experience. Excellent communication is a MUST. • Need a System Analyst/Technical Lead who can direct a team of offshore developers in implementing a front end customer facing website. • The resource should be familiar with all aspects of web development – requirements gathering and documentation, software development, execution, on-going support and maintenance. • The project uses Microsoft technologies (namely VS 2010, .Net Framework 3.5, SQL 2008, Web Services (WCF). • Among your many attributes, we are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable to have direct interaction with the customers, analyze the business need and convert into software specs. • Will be working closely with a cross-functional team on this high visibility project. • Will be sending the specs to offshore developers and will be accountable for the delivery. Technical Skills • .NET Web Development (VS2010, .NET 3.5, WCF) • SQL Server Development (Sprocs, Table Design) • Load Testing Tools (.NET Load Tester) General Skills • Lead Experience -- Leading a team of 3-4 offshore developers. Responsible for the timely delivery. • Design Skills -- Meet with the customers, take the requirements and put together a design • Development -- Should be willing to dive deep down into code and address a issue if need be.
