We have an urgent opening with one of our clients for the below position.

This is my direct-client opening for an QA contractor located in Austin, TX.
This is a long term contract. The hourly rate is DOE.
Desired Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in testing web-based applications.
* 3+ years of experience testing back-end applications, Commerce
preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in writing detailed functional test plans, test
scripts, creating test data, test execution, and creating defects.
* Experience with Automated Toolset.
* Extensive experience in the use of defect tracking software.
* Experience in database-level testing through the use of SQL data
manipulation language.
* Experience working with UAT teams in remote locations.
* Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle in relation to
software quality standards.
* Experience in participating in functional /design requirement reviews.
* Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the
ability to handle multiple tasks.
* Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, project managers
and business stakeholders.
