Employer: Position: Flex Developer Duration: 6+ months Location: Redwood City CA In person interview REQUIRED Responsibilities include: analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, and maintaining new FinApps. This requires you to be able to execute your Flex work in a clean, reusable manner and provide insightful guidance on interaction design and usability. Primary Responsibilities: • Translate functional specifications, wireframes, HTML mock ups, and customer specs into fully functional stand-alone Flex applications. • Develop Flash/Flex demos for clients. • Design and implement Apps that meet all standards and guidelines of FinApp Platform. • Design and implement Apps using standard Flex UI Library. • Work closely with platform team that will provide many of the back end API’s and components that will power our applications. • Create design documentation to support maintenance of your Apps. Required: • Extensive hands-on experience (3-5 years) programming in Flex • Experience integrating Flash/Flex with JAVA applications. • Experience architecting and integrating Flex with data services to access back-end data. • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior developers. • Extensive knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 • Experience with development of UI components using Spark, MXML and ActionScript 3.0 • Experience with Flex Builder 4.x. • Deep understanding of Object Oriented Design concepts. • A detailed understanding of front-end design patterns (e.g. MVC) and best practices • Experience in web services (SOAP/REST), XML, HTTP/S. • Demonstrated ability to write clear technical documentation. • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to work closely with teammates.
