*SAP Basis Administrator* *Location: *Houston, TX 77054 *Duration:* 12 months *Max Bill Rate:* $50/hr POSITION PURPOSE: The OPM/TCC Role is the interface between the customer organization CBM/SDM and the SAP Global Delivery Hub. This role is required for SAP Basis Classic and Dynamic Services Operations. These services are delivered close to the customer with a high demand for communication and coordination. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • General responsibilities include being the operative interface between production (SAP Basis Operations) and SDM (Service Delivery Manager) for ordered delivery elements. • Plans, manages and is responsible for the delivery of the ordered SAP Basis services in Time, Quality and Costs. • Plans, develops and implements efficiency improvement plans for costs, quality and processes in coordination with the SDM. • Make proposals for efficiency improvements. • Communication and Reporting responsibilities include default reporting based on Standard SLR-Reporting. • Regular communication with SDM's on Performance, Quality and Costs. • Accountable of the ordered and agreed to Asset and Performance Data. • Customer communication responsibilities include day to day consulting for short questions. Initiates and prepare such meetings proactively. • Operations Process responsibilities includes being accountable for Incident, Problem, Change and Escalation management. • Accountable for planning and coordinating major changes (upgrades, migrations, support packages, etc.) • Technical Responsibilities include regular review of the system landscape and operational processes. • Makes proactive proposals for landscape development, based on customer business and leads continuous improvement. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Accountable for Asset- and Configuration Management • Responsible for audits and security standards within the scope of the OPM role. • Check OLA compliance and Initiate quality improvement measures if necessary. • Financial responsibilities include optimization of the Service Delivery Elements, SDE and attaining the target costs. QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong level of technical experience with SAP systems • Experience coordinating the integration and configuration of SAP systems • Ability to provide technical SAP Basis consultation for projects • Liaise with multiple technical teams OS Team, Helpdesk, Network, etc • Provide technical advice and guidance to all customers in the effective use of SAP systems, products and services available. • Strong coordination, time management and planning skills • Steady character, able to work under pressure in a dynamic, technical complex environment • Have excellent team working abilities; able to work in a large global organization as a team member, sharing knowledge for the benefit of the team, the service, and the Enterprise • Good technical knowledge of the IT infrastructure, especially where it relates to SAP landscapes and its interfaces • Advanced troubleshooting and problem analysis experience • Experience with SAP ECC, BW, EP, SRM, and Solution Manager, with knowledge of other SAP applications a strong plus. • Experiences with Business Objects a strong plus. • In excess of 5 years IT working experience, preferably in a service/technology management environment EDUCATION: • College graduate or equivalent experience -- Regards, Shankar 248-522-6879 Technology consultanst inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
