The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily SAP NetWeaver systems administration and for assisting the team leadership to improve the systems support processes. Function as part of the Systems Administration team to support the existing SAP platform, technologies, and interfaces as well as to design and roll out upgraded or new SAP technologies. Be responsible for documenting these technologies and training other team members. Incumbent will participate in an on-call rotation with other team members to support all system related issues on a 24x7 basis. Experience: 7+ years of data processing experience. 5+ years of SAP R/3 and SAP ECC 6.0 systems administration experience, SAP Security Administration experience, SAP Performance Diagnostics experience and SAP Data Volume Management experience. 3+ years of SAP Solution Manager experience and File Transfer programming and configuration experience. 2+ years of HP UX Administration and Service Guard Clustering experience; Security Weaver experience; Taxware administration experience; Oracle Database Administration experience; Tidal Enterprise Job Scheduler Configuration and Administration experience; HP OpenView Management experience; SAP Backup and Restore technology experience. Knowledge/Skills: SAP Solution Manager Installation, Configuration, and Administration SAP Technical Upgrade SAP Security Administration Security Weaver installation and Configuration. SAP NetWeaver Product Installation, Configuration, and Administration SAP Performance Diagnostics using Quest and HP tools. Tidal Enterprise Job Scheduler Configuration and Administration Multiple platform support - HP UX, Windows and heterogeneous environments. HP UX Clustering - Service Guard SAN Storage Configuration and Administration Backup Techniques - Business Copy and Continuous Access Configuration. Disaster Recovery techniques and process. Symantec Netbackup Administration and Backup management Proficiency with Systems Monitoring and Reporting solution HP OpenView. SAP SPI configuration for HP OpenView Oracle 8.X/9.X/10.X Administration Knowledge of HP Hardware and Storage Sub-systems. Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well on a team. Formal Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
