Location : San Diego or Los Angeles
Duration : 6 Months
Job Description:
· Hands on 11gR2 high volume ecommerce mission critical OLTP databases
supporting thousands of concurrent global users, generating billions
of transactions per day.
· This position requires expert level hands-on experience with MPP
Oracle RAC, Grid, ASM, and how databases are used to support global
media & entertainment e-commerce applications.
· Candidate must have similar high volume, online ecommerce database
support in a complex compliance driven global corporation.
· Most basic expectation is DBA must be able to tear down and rebuild
multi-node RAC DB’s, proactive in monitoring RAC instances for <10 MS
response time SLA’s, Can analyze complex query plans and fine tune for
optimal resource use and response time.
· Can manage multi terabyte replicated environments with data
provisioning, cleansing, securing data at rest and in transit.
· Requires hands-on advanced query optimization, effective use of
available resources and optimization techniques, data compression,
data restoration and recovery expertise to support in a zero data loss
environment.
· Experience with Multi-site Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
is a plus.
· Must have demonstrated expertise to work in a fast paced, fast
result oriented environment.
