Thorough understanding of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) , SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills – must be able to work effectively as part of a project/program team and foster team cooperation. Demonstrated technical leadership experience including budgeting and managing timelines. Stays current with rapidly changing technology and applies it to business needs. Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong SSAS and MDX skills working in a Data Warehouse environment and using SQL Server 2005, knowledge of 2008 is required Assist with the development of logical and physical Cubes and Dimensions Participate in test plan creation and the testing process. Accurately estimate the size of the development effort as measured. Provide complete documentation in the form of commented code, problem status information, and design documents. Perform thorough unit testing as required to provide a quality product. Perform thorough problem analysis that results in resolution of problems according to standards. Develop SQL Server reports using SSRS Create complex reports using OLAP Cubes and/or other multi-dimensional objects. Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading (ETL).
