We currently have a* Long Term Contracting(6+ Months) *opportunity for a *Java/J2EE Developer *with advanced skills to produce architecture design and system documents for our large health care insurance client located in *Washington, DC.* This is for the project working on a Reporting tool POC and System Document and the projects will involve broad Java/J2EE and web technologies. *Responsibilities:* *Perform full life-cycle activities in support of the project which will include, but not limited to:* 1. This position is senior level, candidate must be self-motivated, is able to work independently and produce architecture design and system documents. 2. Work with the architect and technical leader on design and development 3. Accountable for meeting the milestones set for the projects 4. Conduct code review, unit testing and integration testing 5. Document system design, development and Unit testing, and transfer maintenance work to client's internal staff *Required Skills:* *This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience, and more than 8 years professional software development experience in object-oriented language, including minimum of 6 years experience with Java and J2EE.
