Kindly review and let me know your interest. ** <[email protected]>**Our client is looking for QA Inspector – Boston, MA. This is a 3-6 month contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Local candidates to Boston only. *GENERAL DESCRIPTION* * * Responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and releasing of all material and product in plant environment. Responsible for perform quality inspection per company documentation, and adhere to the quality procedures and/or process. Responsible for performing incoming, in-process (sub-assemblies, finished goods), and other inspection activities as required. Continually monitor, assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the inspection system, recommending and implementing changes as required. Responsible to conduct random audits on process/product. Carry out specific investigations/improvements as requested by the Quality Manager. Document all work activity in appropriate inspection records, forms, and logs to ensure accuracy and compliance. Responsible for updating quality information into quality data management systems. Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts as they relate to current job assignment and other improvements throughout the company when identified. Conducts Material Review Board (MRB) and supporting corrective and preventive action plans, 8D’s. Any other duty as assigned by the Quality Manager. *WORK EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS* * * Must have received an Electrical College Diploma or an equivalent Minimum of 5 years experience. Experience in a manufacturing of electrical utility applications. Basic working experience in assembly and wiring of electrical equipment. Basic understand of Mechanical (GD&T) & Electrical drawings Excellent understanding engineering drawings, technical documentation, quality tools. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IPC-610, and understanding of Microsoft computer based programs. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Good communication skills-both written and oral. Ability to complete tasks in a professional and timely manner, producing high quality, and accurate results. Ability to manage time and handle multiple projects concurrently.
