Job Description:
Perform an upgrade of an Informatica application (from 7.x and 8.x) to
the latest release (9.1.x) of the Informatica PowerCenter Advanced
addition platform Including the following Services -
Repository Integration SAP Netweaver Web hub Data Quality Table Manger
Metadata Manager Data Explorer Data Analyzer PowerExchange - DB2, SAP/
BW, Oracle Experience with thorough planning, preparation and
controlled subset upgrades and complete roll-out of the new platform
into production Informatica PC with multi node/ geographical area
architecture
Effective upgrades with minimal disruption and Optimal deployment of
enhanced features Has best practices for upgrade environments and test
procedures to protect production systems
Deliverables: Upgrade assessment and plan for Current 3 tier
environment Upgrade strategy and detailed upgrade and test plans
Deployment into production of initial upgrade and testing Upgrade to
enhanced functionality on selected environment Deployment of enhanced
upgrade into production
