*Location :* Dearborn , Michigan
*Duration :* 6 Months
Communication Skills & Analytical abilities are top priorities for this
position.
*Skills / Attributes Required which are given below :*
3-5 years of DBA experience working with multiple servers
In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience.
Experience of managing multiple MS SQL 2008 & 2005 RDBMS on
large systems
Strong self-sufficiency & initiative working on Database
projects
Experience Practical experience in monitoring & tuning a
database to provide a high availability service.
Experience of Transactional SQL, Stored procedures, SSIS, SSAS.
Practical experience in managing the internal & external MS SQL
database security.
Associated networking knowledge with routers, san drive, &
website configuration is highly preferable.
*Duties & Responsibilities are given below :*
Responsible for installation, configuration, administration
(backups, restoration, disaster recovery) of the SQL Server databases &
ensuring their performance, availability & security.
Work to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated
to the databases & to ensure high resilience & performance tuning.
To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure
services with minimum downtime
Responsible for troubleshooting & problem solving of SQL
development.
Responsible for improvement & maintenance of the databases to
include rollout & upgrades.
Responsible for implementation & release of database changes
according to agreed timescales & costs.
