Good morning, I have an opening for a Senior Oracle DBA. It is a long-term contract with a client of ours in Duluth, GA (metro Atlanta area). Rate: 50/hr *REQUIRED SKILLS:* - *EXCELLENT communication* - Oracle Database Performance Tuning - Oracle Data Guard - *Oracle Golden Gate** * - *Oracle Development of PL-SQL* This is an exciting opportunity working with Java developers and Integration engineers to develop, support and tune new and existing products databases. *Responsibilities:* - Candidate must be able to write PL-SQL for creating Schemas for several different products. (Create/Convert Tables, Indexes, views, sequences, synonyms, roles, and users) - Candidate should understand Oracle Database Design and how to implement those designs. - Candidate should have experience with managing Database Structures, Storage Allocation, Table/Index segments, Rollback Segments, Constraints, Database Access, Roles and Privileges, and Database Auditing. - Candidate will understand how to recognize “Indexing issues” and how to solve issues that may be index related. - Candidate will be familiar with reading AWR reports and making recommendations based on those reports. - Candidate will have experience with “How To” re-organize a production database. - Candidate will have experience with implementing Oracle RAC Solutions - Candidate will have experience with RMAN and performing Database backups…scripts.. - Candidate must possess ability to troubleshoot Database issues including performance issues and make recommendations to increase performance.
