Job Description: -
The position will be focused on defining the Solution Architecture of
cross platform browser based Mobile web applications for multiple hand
held platforms (Ex: iPhone,Blackberry, Android, tablet PC) ACROSS
multiple technical stacks, with a focus on .NET platform.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years
progressively senior experience in application development and/or
application architecture with at least 3-4 years focused on the mobile
platform space.
Will have to have recent hands-on experience getting mobile web sites
working on various hand helds.
This individual will join an enthusiastic, fast-paced and dynamic
team. Will have to be a results-oriented person, with a good success
record.
Key Responsibilities:
• Defines solution architecture for mobile web applications on
a variety of different hand held platforms including iPhone,
Blackberry, and Android., based on .Net platform
• Defines the test strategy and for functional and non-
functional requirements across the various devices / simulators.
Experience with libraries like 51 degrees, test services like
DeviceAnywhere needed, testing tools like Eggplant preferred.
• Experience with Visual design for mobile web sites, and
eliciting the documentation needed towards visual requirements.
• Develops Candidate and Software Architecture Documentation
• Conducts architectural requirements elicitation processes
• Conducts proofs-of-concept and develops prototypes
• Participates in architectural peer review activities, and
performs design reviews to ensure alignment to the architectural
approach
• Provides guidance, oversight to the Development organization
engaged on projects
• Maintains relationships and collaborates with architects in
other Enterprise Architecture domains including infrastructure,
security and business domains
• Collaborates with Mobile COE’s with other vendors/
departments.
• Participates in technology selection efforts
• Familiarity with Rational SDLC and Tools suite
