Use case analysis and modeling Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability to data interchange including industry trends Gather, analyze, and author business and functional requirements following Take Care’s SDLC methodology (including reverse engineering of requirements from existing applications) Ability to create wireframes Work with subject matter experts, vendors, business units and other members of IT to facilitate the timely completion and accuracy of requirements documents Conduct application demonstrations Keep abreast of Take Care Health vision and service offerings to ensure requirements align with enterprise initiatives Interact with QA team to create test cases and triage bugs. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Track down software, application, and environment issues to resolution across multiple, concurrent implementations. * * *Job Requirements:* 2+ years as a business analyst in a healthcare environment dealing with integration initiatives Knowledge of industry trends and formats including (HL7, HIPAA, HiTech, HIE, ICD, CPT) 7+ year experience as a Business Analyst Experience in software development Experience with unified software development Experience gathering and writing detailed requirements for software development life cycle. Experience with use case driven requirements analysis and modeling. Understanding of QA processes and interaction with QA team. Strong facilitation and presentation skills. Demonstrated customer service experience and follow through to completion. Ability to multitask. Proven experience and track record of successfully completing assignments within the deadline. Extensive experience with core PM/BA tools including Microsoft Project 2007 Professional, Microsoft SharePoint 2007, Microsoft Office 2007 Professional (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Access, etc.), and others. Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with all parties related to the projects assigned. Successful in keeping all parties related to the project informed of progress and/or status addressing underlying needs that impact project delivery. Ability to maintain a high degree of customer/client/sponsor satisfaction while also maintaining necessary project controls. Ability to recognize and escalate situations as deemed necessary. Extended working hours may be required as needed. Ability to travel as required by project up to 25% nationwide. BA/BS majoring in Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, Information Science, Business Management, or similar field.
