AS 400, Synon ,Oracle/DB2 databases, Unix . Candidate should be able to understand AS/400 concepts (job management, data management) . Good communication & Understanding of SDLC processes . Should have Strong AD400/Synon hands on experience. . SQL knowledge with good hands on exp . Legacy Modernization of AS/400 applications . Experience in Client / Business User interaction . Analyzes and documents system requirements. . Documents detail design to program specification level, based on system requirements. . Organizes and participates in meetings with user groups and other IT areas in order to design efficient and effective production systems. . Participates in the maintenance of the existing computer system, the development of new systems and any major enhancements to existing systems utilizing AllFusion/2E (previously Synon/2E). . Generates required test databases, conducts and reports on Unit tests, System tests and Integration tests. . Should be proficient in Query and/or SQL tools and able to read COBOL sufficient to debug generated programs . Should be proficient in System I (AS/400), CL language. . Strong troubleshooting skills, and diligent in the pursuit of issue resolutions . Ability to drive things with minimal amount of guidance and meet project deadlines . Ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and in making decisions . Ability to follow or give verbal and written instructions, as applicable .
