Good Morning! Orange County has a new opportunity available for a Java Web APplication Developer. The candidate must have experience with Java, SQL, web applications, spring, struts, & hibernate to qualify for this position. Any experience with financial companies is a plus! The ideal pay rate for this candidate is *$50-55* per hour, we can't go over *$55 *per hour! The required details are below: *JOB DESCRIPTION* *Java Web Application Developer* *6 month+ contract* *Rancho Cordova, CA 95670* *$50-55/hour* *MUST BE A LOCAL CANDIDATE!* The application developer will be a key member of Software Engineering department and will play a major role in Support, Enhancement, and new development of the Data Processing application. This position will be responsible for working with associated business unit to resolve application/processing issues, able to identify enhancement requirements, develop thorough understanding of business processes, and build strong working relationship with business partners. Implementing and designing back-end data processing system/applications on electronic data processing including importing, transferring, merging, reformatting, data conversion, and report/document generation. - Developing complex applications using utility and development tools - Developing, supporting, and maintaining web application - Providing software development skill on existing and new projects/application development. 5 years+ Object-oriented programming experience; 5 years+ Java programming experience; 4 years+ SQL programming experience; other relational database programming experience preferred. Adobe reporting development experience; Jasper Report development experience preferred. Window application development experience preferred; Web-based development experience preferred - J2EE (EJB, JSP, Servlets, JSF, JDBC, JMS, JNDI, RMI), XML, Struts, RMI, Swing/JFC, XML, XSL/XSLT, SOAP, Web Services, JavaScript Web servers: Apache, Jakarta Tomcat, IIS Databases: Oracle 8/9i, SQL Server 2000, MySQL, MS-Access Operation Systems: Linux, UNIX -Solaris, Windows Networking: Telnet, FTP and TCP/IP programming with sockets API, Network Protocols, SSH, SSL Tools: JBuilder, Apache Ant, Eclipse, NetBeans A clear understanding of the software development lifecycle Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must be a team-player summary top skill requirements: • Web application experience (3 tier development, preferably Struts, Spring, Hibernate) • JSP/jQuery experience • Linux • SQL • ETL (At least an understanding of what it is!) • Ability to work in a loosely structured environment Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
