** *Please forward resumes to [email protected] * * * *Title: .Net Web Developer* * * *Location: New Haven, CT* * * *Duration: 6+ Months * Position General Purpose The team is responsible for the technology design, development and deployment of mission critical applications across the Yale Community. While these projects are primarily Web-based, Client also provides a wide array of consulting services within Yale and participates in various sized projects from inception through completion. As a member of the team, you will be expected to provide senior technical leadership to your team members within all phases of the projects you’ll be assigned. Education and Experience 1. Bachelors degree plus seven years of experience with Web Development and Architecture. 2. Extensive experience developing Web Applications utilizing the .Net framework. 3. Experience with C# required. 4. Extensive experience the .Net MVC Framework required. 5. Experience with Relational Databases especially Oracle and SQL Server. 6. Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) preferred. 7. Experience with OOA&D techniques and implementation strategies. 8. Experience with general Web architecture, such as browsers, and IIS Application Server. 9. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 10.Experience with version control systems such as SVN. 11.Experience with ASP and VBScript. Skills and Abilities 1. Proven ability to design and develop Web based applications in a project driven environment. 2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. 3. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. 4. Must be a fast learner with a strong desire and motivation to learn about Yale and the higher education environment. 5. Strong experience with UML artifacts (creating class, sequence diagrams, etc.) 6. Ability to work either independently or closely with others as the needs of the project dictate. 7. Must maintain a customer service and quality focus at all times. 8. Experienced in Agile Development Methodology. 9. Highly familiar with Software Development Lifecycle Methodology (SDLC). 10.
