*Position :* San Admin *Location:* Cooperstown, NY *Duration:* 5 - 6 Months *Requires Skills:* * * *Celerra, CMX,/DMX* Someone who can work with the engineers (Adrian, Jim, …) on implementing performance/optimization opportunities on the NS480 that were identified during one of our EMR finger-pointing episodes, as in the “SAN’s poor performance” is degrading the overall systems performance, thus negatively impacting the user experience. Some tweaks were made some not. Re-look, re-review, plan implementation, execute proposed recommendations. Define/bless steps/processes that can be executed, somewhat immediately, to prove/disprove the SAN is innocent when next we find ourselves on the end of an EMR finger pointing. My intent would be to negotiate w/ the EMR vendor so that we’re in agreement that when we provide them the data from the to be defined/blessed steps mentioned previously, the SAN is immediately exonerated, discussion done, we move on Define/bless steps/processes that can be executed/implemented to provide a running status on SAN performance and growth over time, both real-time as well as historical Map storage growth on the EMC Storage array’s from inception until today.
