Experience Required:
· Created Business Requirements documents for acceptance by
management within established deadlines.
· Created and used requirements traceability matrices to
track progress of business requirements from development through
signoff.
· Identified and documented use cases (scenarios)
representing the users, workflows and tasks that will have to be
performed as a result of the proposed enhancements.
· Developed functional specifications and system design
specifications for medium to large sized projects.
· Facilitated systems testing and user acceptance testing for
projects and service requests.
· Developed and maintained accurate Test Scenarios.
· Developed and executed Test Plans as required by the
project team for medium to large sized projects.
· Managed and maintained defect tracking tools (i.e., Excel
or COTS tool supplied to the project).
· Facilitated project testing meetings as required by the
project for medium to large sized projects.
· Developed Training Plans as required for medium to large
sized projects.
· Facilitated execution of Training Plans.
· Mentor and Direct the work of other less experienced
Business Analysts as required.
· Facilitated meetings with users and business owners to
determine their needs.
· Accurately prepared written business correspondence that is
coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.
· Is proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
· Has the ability to function effectively in a collaborative
team environment.
· Has the ability to work and communicate with internal and
external customers in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner.
· Understands basic Internet and client/server architectures.
Preferred Skills:
· Graduation from an accredited college or university and
experience equal to six years of full-time work in a business analyst
role.
· Possesses working knowledge of SQL and database design.
· Has experience in and knowledge of formalized project
management methods and techniques such as PMI, CMMI, etc.
· Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) a plus
· Experience with Eligibility and Benefit calculation systems
is a plus
· Experience creating rules in Corticon Rules Engine (V4.1 or
V4.3) is a plus.
· Experience with Rules engines in general is required.
· Experience working in the public sector
