I need a Tivoli Engineer for Columbus OH. 6+ month long contract Must be able to do f2f interview in Columbus. No Websphere Admins please. Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Tivoli Engineer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial industry clients in Columbus, OH. Candidate will support monitoring infrastructure of Retail business-aligned applications using a variety of tools including: Tivoli Framework, IBM Tivoli Monitoring, Tivoli Netview, Tivoli Enterprise Console, HubEQ, all feeding into production alerts and a custom management dashboard. The position will focus on SLA Instrumentation and work in conjunction with the infrastructure support teams and development teams to ensure that applications are enabled with application monitoring and infrastructure monitoring. Candidate will focus on application monitoring and assure that alerts are captured and sent to support organizations to resolve problems. Responsibilities: - Develop Perl and/or Java scripts for Tivoli custom scripting - creating transactions within HubEQ - Gather and document monitoring requirements - Deliver new monitors in support of business unit requirements - Support and maintain existing infrastructure - Integrate new products with existing infrastructure - Assist System & Database Administrator staff as needed - Analysis and documentation - Provide 24x7 support on a rotation basis Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT - 3+ years’ experience in information technology in a corporate environment - 3+ years in distributed platform support - Candidate must be technically familiar with Unix and Windows environments - Proficient with Perl, Java and shell scripting - Very strong experience creating and managing Tivoli ITM5 & ITM6 scripts - Experience creating monitoring handbooks/plans -- Regards, Shankar 248-522-6879 Technology consultanst inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
