They will provide support for each projects project manager and will provide input for the development of MS project plans. This resource will also provide design guidance and technical implementation oversight to ensure that the implementation reflects the design. IBM Power Series consolidation & optimization 4. SAN attached storage migration & optimization - EMC Symmetrix & Clariion 5. NAS attached storage migration & optimization – EMC Celerra Required Skills & Competencies 1. Excellent Verbal & Written Communication 2. Overall understanding of SAN & NAS based storage principles, concepts & best practices 3. Overall understanding of virtualization principles, concepts & best practices for Unix, Linux, & MS technologies 4. Overall understanding of system & IT consolidation concepts & best practices. 5. Overall understanding of system & IT optimization concepts & best practices. 6. Overall understanding of system & IT transformation & modernization concepts & best practices. 7. Proficient with design & implementation of VMWare ESX/ESXi version 3.5 & 4.0 8. Proficient with design & implementation of VMWare View & ThinApp product line 9. Proficient in planning & utilizing with VMWare VMotion for ESX storage migration 10. Proficient with design & implementation of Citrix XenApp v4.5 - Migration planning from XenApp v4.5 to XenApp v6 11. Proficient with design & implementation of Citrix XenApp v6 & XenDestop v5.5 12. Proficient with design & implementation of EMC Celerra attached storage 13. Proficient with design & implementation of migration plans for storage EMC DMX to EMC Clariion attached storage 14. Proficient with design & implementation of migration plans for storage EMC Clariion CX3-30 to EMC Clariion CX-480 attached storage 15. Proficient with design & implementation of migration plans for storage EMC NS42G Celerra to EMC NS-480 Celerra - Data Movers & Virtual Data Movers - VD Move 16.
