   - The Transportation Solutions Group, has openings for a *Crystal
   Reports / Business Objects (BO) Administrator* in its Germantown, MD
   Transportation Technology Center.]
   - This position requires an excellent knowledge of Crystal Reports
   Server with strong Windows / Linux background. Candidates must have prior
   experience in evaluating, install, test, configure, maintain, and monitor
   performance of and troubleshoot Crystal Reports server.
   - This position is part of a systems development team supporting Tolls
   and Transit products.
   - These industry leading products support programs related to the
   Transportation industry and associated operations for a number of the
   country’s largest tolls and transit agencies.
   - It requires an individual who is highly skilled in maintenance of
   large scale Crystal Reports / Business Objects (BO) implementations.
   - The environment is fast paced and dynamic, requiring the ability to
   respond quickly to changing priorities across multiple projects.
   - The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written
   communication skills along with a demonstrated ability to meet schedules
   and multi-task.
   - After hours and weekend work is occasionally required.
   - Prior experience should include the support and maintenance of
   Enterprise scale systems that provide failover and high availability with
   defined Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
   - Outstanding oral, technical and written communication skills and
   ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial setting is essential.

*Required:*

   - *Atleast 3+ years of Crystal Reports / BO XI administration experience*.

   - Knowledge of Crystal Reports / BO architecture and security
   - Thorough understanding of relational databases, query optimization,
   performance tuning, process automation and ETL processes
   - Evaluate, install, upgrade, configure and maintain and monitor
   performance and troubleshoot Crystal Reports applications
   - Provide technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of issues.
   - Install upgrades and patches on systems software and hardware
   - Script routinely executed production tasks for these environments and
   automate execution where possible
   - Knowledge of advanced application server configuration desirable,
   including performance tuning and capacity planning
   - Create and maintain documentation about the BO server environment
   - Production support experience in multiple QA and Dev environments.
   - Good working knowledge of authentication and access control using
   Active Directory
   - Good understanding of TCP/IP, high availability networking, and
   infrastructure security technologies
   - Solid understanding of Incident, Problem, Release, Change, and Project
   management policy and processes, as well as an established SDLC framework
   - Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced support environment.
   - Contribute to detailed environment documentation (architectural
   diagrams, block diagrams, etc.)
   - A background with systems operating in a 24x7 production environment.
   - Experience in scripting and using source code control systems.
   - Relational database experience, Oracle preferred.
   - Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and multi-task.
   - Outstanding oral and written communications skills in both technical
   and client facing situations.
   - Manage own time and time of others while working in coordination with
   various teams like database administrators, system administrators, network
   administrators and other IT teams

*Preferred / Desired:*

   - Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems. 5 to 7 years
   experience in Administration and Support of Enterprise Applications
   - Developer skills in Crystal and Webi
   - Experience as BI developer on data warehousing, business analytics or
   performance management Experience in supporting multiple development and QA
   team
   - Siebel, Actuate Reports or Websphere experience will be a definite
   plus
   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
   - Ability to multi-task across numerous activities
   - A background in large scale transaction processing and financial
   management systems.
   - A good understanding of development technologies including Service
   Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web services, application-to-application
   integration, and message queuing.
   - Experience working in a team environment where team members are
   geographically dispersed.
   - Client interaction and presentation skills.
   - Oracle experience a plus Education and Typical Years Experience A BA /
   BS degree that is relevant to the position. 7+ years of hands-on systems
   administration experience with Enterprise applications.
