After the projects are prioritized the Programmer Analyst will begin to analyze the requirements, create architectural documents, and gain approval to the design, code and unit test. A Programmer Analyst is required to assist DCJS in the following activities related to the NOADS Project: • Analyze requirements • Create design • Create architectural documents • Code • Unit test • Assist with the release notes *MANDATORY EXPERIENCE CANDIDATES NOT MEETING ALL OF THE MANDATORY EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS BELOW WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION* - Candidate must have eight (8) years experience in IT application development with a minimum of four (4) years JAVA Development Kit (JDK 1.5 and above) experience. - At least four (4) years experience developing and deploying large scale computer applications in a multi-tiered environment using an Object Oriented or Service oriented Architecture. *ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS* Candidates must also have three (3) of the preferred skilled sets listed below. Accordingly, candidates not meeting the supporting experiential specifications below will not be considered for the position. 1. Hands on experience with IBM IDE: Rational Application Developer (RAD) and/or Rational Software Architect (RSA) 2. Hands on IBM Portal server experience 3. Knowledge of JSF 4. Experience in developing applications for IBM Websphere Application Server 6.1 or above 5. Experience with developing web services using JAX-WS for WAS 6.1 and above 6.
