Amongst the projects being worked on are Next Gen Desktop and CDW DR. statement: Responsible for orchestrating the environment builds. Tracks all environments requests throughout the organization. Provides LOE (level of effort) estimates to build each environment. Maintains and reviews the master build schedule with affected service lines to identify resource constraints. Identifies all tasks required for each environment and works closely with the service lines to ensure timely completion and with the Project Managers (PMs) to ensure that expectations are being met. Submits and tracks master ticket and all associated tickets with each build. Identifies opportunities for improvements to the build times or staff time required to complete builds. Expertise required in PlanView, Remedy, building Windows/Unix servers, PowerPoint and Excel. Expertise desired in building DB environments, middleware instances, storage, facilities and network. Experience as a PM is desirable as is PMP and/or ITIL certifications. Must be able understand engineering documents and determine the tasks, teams and time required to build new environments. Must be highly organized and able to work closely with technical staff, project managers and technical management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
