As a designer, the applicant will be required to analyze business requirements for the migration of data from the legacy environment to the new MI SACWIS environment. Define and document the technical ETL processes as required to meet the conversion objectives. The applicant must be familiar with the industry standard Extract, Translate and Load (ETL) concepts, practices, and procedures. * * *Required Skills:* · 2 to 5 years experience developing data conversions using InfoSphere DataStage/QualityStage in an Oracle environment is required · Experience in gathering user requirements and documentation of formal business requirements and functional specifications to be used in DataStage job design and development · Able to meet with key clients as needed to provide smooth communication · Able to provide advisory support to staff members to best enable project success · SQL/PLSQL in an Oracle environment · HTML/XHTML · JavaScript · XML · Child Welfare (SACWIS) domain experience is a plus. · Detail oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines · Strong interpersonal skills · Self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision · Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills *Education:* · Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred *Desired Skills:* · Contractors will be required to cover their own parking expenses (appx $99/month) · Contractors will be required to provide their own laptops for this assignment · Contractors will be required to use their cell phones for work.
