*.NET Developer – Conversion project* *Duration: 4-6 weeks* * * * * *They are converting an Access Database and Excel Spreadsheets into a web presentation layer that will tie into an Oracle Database*** · *Need .NET Development experience – C# and ASP.NET* · *PL/SQL experience to make calls to the Oracle Database* Great River Energy is currently in need of a .Net developer for a 4 - 6 week engagement beginning on or about November 21st. The project is a conversion of a Microsoft Access database(s) and several Microsoft Excel spreadsheets into a multi-tier solution utilizing a web presentation layer and an Oracle data layer. The application supports business processes surrounding electrical generation consumables and its data is used as the foundation for invoicing, waste billing, and other contract activities. The project consists of the creation of several webform UI’s, validation and transactional processes surrounding the information collected in these UI’s. The individual will work closely with a project manager and development lead for detailed work assignments and may collaborate with database and report designers. The nature of this project requires the professional to be present at the headquarters facility located at 12300 Elm Creek Blvd, Maple Grove, Minnesota during the working hours beginning at 8:00 am and concluding at approximately 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday. Development environment consisting of a physical device and software tools will be provided by Great River Energy.
