My client is looking for *Technical/Data Analyst – Mclean, VA* – This is an
3 Months contact position.

JOB Description: *
· Responsible for data/information management and data quality
operations support of shared corporate data repositories.
· Perform all levels of issue/problem management: technical/data
analysis, leveraging current sources including databases, data and process
models, business requirements and other artifacts.
· Experience gathering, analyzing, evaluating data issues/requests
and articulating business requirements and documenting with the ability to
conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and perform post production
validation of solution implemented.
· Act as a liaison between business area and technical teams to
ensure all parties have complete understanding of issues/requests,
requirements and process steps to ensure alignment and successful outcome.
· Independently determines and develops approach to solutions,
working under limited direction.
· Require technical experience with database including MS Access,
DB2, and Sybase in order to perform business data analysis leveraging
current data sources including databases, data and process models, business
requirements and other artifacts.
· Responsible for maintaining process documentation and other
relevant records as needed.
· Monitor and support a shared team mailbox.
· Provide 24x7 On-Call support.
*Responsibilities:*
1. Develop and Implement Mainframe JCL schedules
2. Develop and Implement Autosys JILs
3. Develop and Implement run books
4. Conduct Tier-1 Failover and Failback exercise
5. Conduct BCP tests and exercise as per the
planned BCP testing windows
6. Perform Job Rerun Analysis in production
7. Perform root cause analysis for major/critical
incidents.
8. Conduct Impact analysis for any infrastructure
upgrades.
9. Support the Infrastructure upgrades.
10. Conduct smoke test for all Infrastructure
upgrades, AMCP and SDLC releases.
11. Customer Service for Business related queries
for ODS applications.
*Skills:*
· Senior (7+ yrs)
· Be organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
· Able to handle multiple tasks/issues in a fast-paced environment
with quick turn-around
· Strong analytical and research skills
· Good written and verbal communication skill
· Experience and knowledge of data quality management techniques
(data quality, data enrichment, data analysis)
· Experience with database environments (DB2, Sybase, MS Access)
· Experience with UNIX, Windows operating systems, and Mainframe
· Experience with Java, XML, Web methods, Weblogic, and Web service
application and development.
· Solid experience with data analysis tools, such as SQL and/or SAS
· Experience with Remedy, Clearcase/ClearQuest, and MS Office
