*Position*- Data Warehouse Developer *Location*- Houston, TX *Duration*- 6+ month contract *Pay Rate*- $DOE/hr *Work Status*- Open to H1s *Technologies*- Netezza, Teradata, PL/SQL, Qlikview tool, Oracle *Project Role*- Client currently has an opportunity for a Data Warehouse developer that has expert understanding of database scripting and Data Warehouse development. Should be able to write ‘complex’ PL/SQL like scripts and be able to integrate data into Qlikview. Any experience with Oracle PL/SQL scripting or Teradata/Netezza ELT development is a big plus. *Qualifications and Experience:* • 5+ years of Data Warehouse (EDW) development using PL/SQL or similar in Oracle, Teradata or Netezza • 10+ years of IT experience • 5 + years of database experience with Oracle (10/11g) and/or Teradata/Netezza • 2+ years of BI development with any major BI tool • Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and guide junior development team members Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop ELT scripts to integrate data in a Netezza based EDW • Develop database Netezza SQL scripts to extract data into Qlikview tool • Provide appropriate solution for building Data Marts into an enterprise data warehouse for faster throughput and performance • Work with Informatica ETL developers and data modelers for data integration *Education and Experience * Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
