Rate: $35/hr C2C *

*Skills:*

   - Minimum 2 years experience with T-SQL
   - Minimum 2 years experience with SQL Databases – SQL 2005 or SQL 2008
   - Minimum 1 year experience with Reporting Services
   - Experience using Visual Studio
   - Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS)
   - Experience publishing reports / dashboards via SharePoint
   - Experience creating dashboards using Performance Point & Proclarity BI
   tools
   - Experience in data validation techniques
   - Strong database skills
   - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross functional team
   environment
   - Ability to quickly learn new systems, adapt and refocus in a fast
   paced, agile development environment
   - Strong investigative and troubleshooting skills
   - Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills

*Description:*

   - Define, gather, and analyze customer requirements.
   - Develop customer deliverables.
   - Work with developers to resolve requirements issues and ensure
   requirements are being met.
   - Develop test plans, define detailed test cases, develop/locate test
   data, and conduct system /integration testing.
   - Document and manage defects.
   - Coordinate defect resolution with developers and retest fixes.
   - Develop user and system documentation.
   - Accurately estimate work effort and complete assignments on schedule.
   - Analyst must be competent to work on complex projects and applies an
   in-depth knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and
   procedures.
   - The incumbent will regularly work under tight deadlines and must be
   capable of handling extreme workloads.
   - Acts independently within a team environment operating with only
   general direction; errors at this level may cause significant disruption
   and/or major cost.
   - Incumbents may provide guidance to and assist in training less
   experienced staff.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

   - Developing and optimizing business intelligence and reporting
   solutions.
   - Works with internal customers in understanding reporting requirements,
   defining scope, developing and testing reports and cubes to meet user
   requests.
   - Identifies issues related to database that show up in the reports and
   subsequently communicates to resolve and eliminate Data Quality problems.
   - Documents business requirements, enhancements, scope change, data
   mapping.

*Experience:*

   - Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) required.
   - Familiarity with metadata modeling techniques and best practices.
   - Ability to perform SQL statements to perform data validation &
   analysis.
   - Understanding of effective report/dashboard design and standards.
   - Employ analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills to improve
   overall business and systems performance.
   - Study, evaluate, and document current and future business processes.
   - Support overall project management and business strategy related to
   Business Intelligence
